The i&u Signature Dress + #RRRGLM

by The Surprise Beginning on September 24, 2012

This week Fox in Flats dared us to where red lipstick everyday for seven days.

And what goes better with red lipstick than a Little Black Dress?

Not many things – I can tell you that honestly, because I have been wearing it all week.

When you are a breastfeeding mother you are somewhat limited with what you can wear. Everything has to be breastfeeding friendly, it needs to open easily, discreetly. The fibres need to be gentle on your baby’s skin.

Finding clothing that fits the above description and actually looks good too can be really difficult.

The i&u Signature Dress really delivers.

Is it gentle on my baby’s skin? Yes, the uber soft bamboo knit fabric is lovely. Luxurious even.

Does it open easily and discreetly for feeding baby? It sure does. The magnetised clips near the strap look more like a fashionable addition than a nursing necessity. The clips are easy to operate, just like a regular maternity bra.

And it looks great on. The pleats around the waist area cause the fabric to fall in a flattering way. The dress is fun and feminine, can easily be dressed up or down, and what doesn’t go well with black?

I teamed my new Little Black Dress with a cute pink pair of wedges, pink beads, pink earrings and ooh, lala, enticing red lips.

You can see the entire gorgeous range of i&u nursing dresses here. It’s everyday wear for everyday mums.
Disclaimer: I was gifted an i&u Signature Dress for review purposes, no payment was received.
