The Count Down

by The Surprise Beginning on August 31, 2012

The count down is on.

Tomorrow The Cloth Nappy Hunt starts. In less than 24 hours the scavenging begins.

And just to drop a little secret here, I haven’t planned my hunt yet.Oops.

I applied, and was accepted, to be a part of this (super fun, really excellent) fluffy loving hunt at the beginning of July. And somehow two months have flown by, I have only just loaded up most of my stock into my shop, and I’m wondering what on earth my clues should be based around.

Do I want people searching through my blog posts or my products? Really I already know that it will be both. I just don’t know how.

Is what I am writing expressing the complete confusion I am feeling right now?

I had always planned on being organised in advance.

Like in many aspects of my life.

The day to day takes over, the mundane and the wonderful take precedence, and then, BAM, deadline.

It is a high school assignment all over again.

The assignment is well within my capabilities, but the pull of procrastination is too strong.

Now it is the night before the assignment needs to be handed in, no drafts, no second chances.

It is the final count down.

We are of course lucky that this is not actually a matter of huge importance.

I do, however, really want it to be a matter of extreme fun and success . . . so off I go to concoct a, hopefully, delightful mixture of intrigue and riddle.

A hunt you shall have.

Register to be a hunter here, go on do it, it’s going to be lots of fun! There are many prizes involved!

I’m flogging my blog over at With Some Grace and joining in with Twinkle in The Eye for Flash Blog Friday.
