Nautical Rehearsals + RRRGLM Linky

At this very moment I am yawning.

Simply writing the word causes me to yawn again. I am, as all the parents that have ever been say, exhausted.

I have either been rehearsing or partaking in musical related activities all weekend.

It’s lots of fun but I’ve missed my family a little bit. Or quite a big bit even.

On Saturday our local city festival opened for the year with a parade and the cast of the musical I’m in had a float . . . or we had a ute with a couple of banners and posters attached to it and we all followed it. We had such a great time dancing our way through the city, handing out flyers and singing at the tops of our lungs.

Yes, many bad pirate jokes were shared, do you know what a pirate puts on his fish?

TaarrrrrrrTaaarrrrrrrrrr sauce!

The boys, oh sorry men, all got to dress in their awesome pirate costumes, while us women got stuck in our extremely yellow cast polo shirts.

What’s the bet a man chose this colour?

When I was getting dressed yesterday, all I knew was that I wanted my clothes to be the opposite of yellow . . . but obviously I decided to still keep my clothing on theme with the Pirate type weekend I was having.

So although I wasn’t dressed as a pirate, I went with a striped top and a nautical/sailor look happened.

I just wish I’d taken a better picture before rehearsals wrecked my hair!!!

That yellow polo gave me flash backs to my highschool uniform. Can you imagine having to wear that every day for five years? No wonder I have such a terrible fashion sense now
