I am known to say this quite a lot.
You know the thing you tell yourself when you keep managing to screw things up, over and over again.
“Just keep swimming, just keep swimming” Dory, in all her wisdom, did as she chanted. She kept swimming, and although she almost got eaten up by a scary deep water fish {yes, I really am using a Finding Nemo analogy here} she was able to get what she needed {P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way Sydney}, leave the jaws of the monster fish behind and continue on her journey.
Last night, tonight, and I dare say possibly tomorrow night too, my scary, deep water, monster fish with jaws of doom is my embroidery machine.
It has eaten not one but TWO entire Pinocchio faces in two days.
Jiminy Cricket was so easy, he stitched out beautifully, without a hiccup. He set me up for failure Dammit!
Pinocchio was easy too . . . until a couple of skipped stitches and kablam! The hoop popped right of that sucker . . . about ten minutes of the end of the design.
This has happened twice, slightly different circumstances both times but both resulting in the same outcome – one slightly deranged looking Disney classic.
But as I said, I will try again. Because it has to get done, and each failure brings me closer to success and teaches me a lesson. Me and Dory, we own this.
I’m seeing the sunny side.

I’d love to try out Garnier’s BB Cream. The best way to find out about new products is to try and I’ve heard a little about this.
My household sends some care packages to deployed ADF members. I would love to include some useful Garnier BB Cream to help protect them from their harsh working environment.
So I can enjoy silky smooth skin

Garnier, my face cream in shining armour, I so need you to come and rescue my skin.
I don’t often wear makeup, but I’ve actually tried the Garnier BB cream and it’s great! It’s easy to put on (a must for someone like me), gives me a little coverage but doesn’t look obviously ‘made up’.
I’d love to win this cream. I swear it has magical ingredients. I like to regularly try new products but this is something I want over and over!
What is this BB cream? Very curious to test it out!
I’m always on the lookout for new products – I’d love to give this a try! My husband uses Garnier hair wax and it smells sooo good
So I can use the bb cream to hide those dark circles under my eyes caused by sleepless nights brought about by the kids
I love the cream, gives me more confidence as an everyday tinted moisturiser, blending in and with sunscreen.
I would love to give my skin a boost; I admit that I have neglected it during these past cold months, and it needs some TLC!
