A Coralicious Father’s Day +RRRGLM Linky

by The Surprise Beginning on September 3, 2012

Saturday afternoon, around four o’clock, I had the mad compulsion to rush to the shops.

I was in need of a hit.

A polish hit.

Now I am not a polish-a-holic, even quick drying versions take too long with the too kids sometimes. But on Saturday, I just needed something pretty for my nails. I can’t explain it other than to say I acted compulsively.

Knowing that I would likely have to look after my kids between coats, and having already chosen my outfit for Sunday, Rimmel 60 Seconds in Coralicious was just what I need to fill the polish shaped hole in my fashionista-heart.

It’s not a polish that will stay on for days and days, but for a bargain price that doesn’t really matter.

Plus it really went well with my top.

I wear: Tulio tunic, Big W tights, Lipstick Sandals (thrifted), Rimmel 60 Seconds in Coralicious.

And because it was Fathers Day yesterday, here’s a selfie my hubby captured while I was busy at rehearsals allllllllllll day.

Love my little family! Ronnie really seems to like the blurry look in photos at the moment.

What is your favourite nail colour at the moment?

I’m a bit of a fan of the OPI New York City Ballet minis collection. There’s a pretty grey, an opalescent nude, a palest lavender and a groovy glitter, which is better than the best topcoat I’ve ever used. I love the OPI minis. They’re usually $20-25 and work really well for me because I don’t use nail colour enough to get through a whole bottle.

You looked very cute, and what a top dad – two kids in the supermarket on Father’s Day by himself. Awesome! x

You look cute – as usual, especially with that smile of yours! Loving the bold colours this season, and coral is just such a yummy colour isn’t it?!

I’m loving the bold colours too! It’s so much better for my complexion, pastels make me loo like a seven year old! :D
